Hi, I’m Anna Binge, the baker behind Binge Bakes
Binge Bakes started as a hobby, baking for friends and family, and has grown from a love of creating delicious homemade treats for every occasion.
Everything is made fresh using real, quality ingredients, with care taken over both flavour and presentation. I also enjoy creating bakes that suit different dietary needs: recipes made with gluten-free flour, inspired by friends and family who avoid gluten, vegan options, and brownies sweetened with xylitol instead of sugar, which came out of my own experience with gestational diabetes.

Frequently asked questions
All orders are collected from our home address here in East Grinstead. Once your order is confirmed, we’ll send you the full address and a collection time that suits you in your confirmation email.
For bespoke celebration cakes we ask for a minimum of two weeks so we can design and bake something special. For our everyday sweet treats, three days’ notice is usually plenty, though do get in touch if you’re in a pickle and we’ll do our best.
We do our best to. Vegan options and bakes made with gluten-free flour are available on many of our recipes, so just ask. Our brownies can also be made with xylitol instead of sugar.
Please note everything is made in a home kitchen that handles nuts, gluten, dairy and eggs, so we can’t guarantee an allergen-free environment, or that a bake made with gluten-free flour is entirely free from traces of gluten. If you are coeliac or have a severe allergy, please tell us before you order so we can talk it through honestly. A full allergen list goes out with every order.
Our kitchen is registered with Mid Sussex District Council and holds a food hygiene rating of 5 (Very Good), the top score.
It depends on what you are ordering. For Shop Treats, you can pay by cash on collection or by bank transfer, and our bank details are sent in your confirmation email.
For Bespoke Cakes, and for cupcake orders of more than 12, we take a 50% deposit to secure your date, with the balance due on collection. Deposits are refundable up to 4 days before your collection date. After that we have already bought your ingredients. The full terms are on our terms & ordering page.
Card payments via Stripe and PayPal are coming very soon.
We mainly bake for collection from East Grinstead, but we do deliver cupcakes and other sweet treats within 3 miles, as far as Crawley Down, for £2.50, or free on orders over £50.
Celebration cakes are collection only, as tiered and decorated cakes do not travel well. Just mention delivery in your order notes or enquiry and we’ll sort the details.
